Hi,
I’m 26 years old and I’m studying to become a middle school (I think this is the equivalent to our “Sekundarstufe 1″) teacher for Chemistry and History.
I just finished my examination paper. My oral and written examinations will be around august and november.
I love Origami since I was a child and my mother gave me an Origamibook (Kunihiko Kasahara, Kami to Origami, 1981) and some packages of Origamipaper ^-^ But it’s just for a short time, that I’m able to fold higher level models like Kawasaki’s rose.
Meantime I’ve focused on tessellations and I really love them. It’s the first time I’m really creative.
Origami helps me to concentrate and to relax, that’s why I’m folding everywhere and in every free minute. ^-^
Besides I’m dancing in an Irish-Set-Dance-Group (Irish Set Dancers Frankfurt) And I love it, but it’s much more exhaustung than I thought at the beginning ^.^
I also have some exotic pets, a Cornsnake (the one with the X is mine) and a Tarantula (Grammostola Aureostriata), but she is very shy, that’s why I’ve no picture of my sweet spider.

hi yureiko,
i noticed your tessellations on flickr – very very nice! i’ve just recently gotten into origami and am trying out a few things – very fun. but i’m not well versed enough to create my own – have to use other people’s patterns.
would you happen to have a pattern for this form?:

i’d love to try this one out using a stiff mesh material.
kind regards,
peter
